His voice has the healing power to unlock people's hearts and simultaneously open their minds. His commitment to himself is to always live in integrity no matter the opportunity. Jay is an enlightened rebel who has been living his authentic self since a church choir director told him at 11 years old, “Boys sing tenor not soprano”.  Jay’s parents sensed the choir director was trying to clip his wings and supported him changing churches. Jay’s dad was a US Marine and his grandpa was a US Navy vet and Jay credits his mother for his work ethic and resilience. She always knew his gift to our world was his voice. Jay is designed to break barriers and carries a sense of freedom everywhere he sings. His superpowers is choosing to lead through influence. For ten years, Jay found refuge in the drag queen community and found comfort using this creative art form. Jay hopes to spread love through the universal language of music.

The AlterEgo experience was a humble reminder to be comfortable in your own skin because what others think of you is not your business. Jay Miah represents the balance of masculinity and femininity. Jay Miah has always had the ability to think independent of any given circumstance and that is how he fearlessly inspires others to live their authentic self.

"Art has many forms."
